Drones

Drones over the last couple of years they have completely changed how films can be show and will be shot. Before drones were invented to only way to get shots of landscapes or cities from very high up would be to use a helicopter and this was basically impossible for people who were on a low budget but now drones have become the way to do establishing shots and shots of landscapes due to the fact that they are way more convenient and they are extremely more cheap to film with. when Im filming my documentary i can use drone footage as b footage for when its getting boring to view the a footage.

3D Cameras

3D cameras are a new kind of technology that allows filming in a complete 360 degrees. there isnt a lot of use for these cameras at the moment as to what kind of croud they appeal to is very niche as with a 360 video considerating in one place is a hard and impossible thing to do as there is always more things to look at since it because it goes all around your head. Virtual Reality is a great way to view 3d videos as it shows everything in the video up close and allows you to look around and see things easily as opposesd to watching the 360 video on a normal monitor as on them you have to look around with a mouse.
